Goals: Students will learn to evaulate one another's performances as peer editors. This handout should accompany a peer group editing assignment.

Please evaluate the work of each member of your peer editing group using the following criteria. Use a separate sheet for each editor.

Were the peer editor’s written comments on drafts helpful? Did the editor’s comments improve as the semester went on?

Skill as a participant in peer editing sessions (out of a total of three points)
Did the peer editor participate responsibly in group discussions? Were the editor’s comments both critical and constructive? Did the editor’s comments become more helpful as the semester went on? Did the editor contribute to making peer editing discussions helpful?
